I am Amara Jain, a Grade 12 student at The Shri Ram School, Moulsari, Gurgaon. I have always been keen on sustainability and was curious to understand what happens to all the waste fabric in garment factories and how they could be put to use towards a sustainable cause. This very thought was the start to the innovative outcome that created an impact towards ‘Empowerment Through Sustainability’. This interest in sustainability grew beyond just a fleeting hobby.
I was determined to convert my passion into something concrete that would support and empower young girls. Brand Clo_ser was founded on the premise that the proceeds would go to serve young women and girls from marginalised sections of society and be able to upskill and empower to make livelihood.
